A Kitten Place is a foster-based rescue in the Tampa Bay area specializing in neonatal kitten care, TNVR, and a lifetime commitment to every cat and adopter we serve. Powered by donations and dedicated volunteers, we give vulnerable cats and kittens the safe, loving start they deserve.
Foster-Based Rescue
A Kitten Place Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based rescue helping orphaned kittens and homeless cats. Our cats and kittens receive care and socialization in foster homes before being adopted into loving families. We do not have a physical location.
Focused on Neo-Natal Care
Our focus is on rescuing the most vulnerable—neonatal kittens from local shelters. These tiny kittens are often euthanized simply because shelters lack the resources for round-the-clock care. We are committed to saving as many as we can. We also rescue pregnant cats, nursing mothers with litters, and older kittens needing critical medical care.
Making a Difference
From midnight bottle feedings to forever-home adoptions, these numbers tell the story of lots of love, happy endings and a rescue powered entirely by volunteers.
Donation-Driven
A Kitten Place Rescue is entirely donation-driven and supported by our community. Donations provide the supplies and medical care for cats and kittens, while our volunteers and foster families care for them in their homes until adoption. We are deeply grateful for all of the support we receive.
Committed to TNVR
We also actively participate in TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) programs to address the root cause of cat overpopulation. Spaying and neutering stray and community cats is essential to creating long-term change and reducing the number of cats in need.
Lifelong Commitment to Every Cat
Our responsibility doesn’t end at adoption. We remain a resource for adopters and caregivers, offering support and guidance to ensure every cat has the best chance at a lifelong, loving home.
